Being locked down in a hotel room for 2 weeks after going on a trip doesn't sound so bad if you're a producer back from a sampling trip. You could sit in that hotel room and legit bang out a whole EP on your laptop.

I find adding a drone fx subtly into a mixdown can really cause the listener to get hypnotized by the dissonance. Techno & dnb do this so so well. Good music should move your mind. 🧠🕊️
