OTD in 1976 Martin Ashby rode in 8 out of 13 heats in the Robins British League match @ Monmore Green. Martin scored a massive 21 points on the waterlogged track but that was not enough to stop the Robins losing 41-37 to Wolverhampton. Swindon is a Speedway Town.
