Did I hear correctly on radio 4 from the person being interviewed that ‘free school meals’ cut off limit is £7,000 family income? How is then possible that MPs earn £87,000+ and have subsidised meals paid by tax payers which will include those earning just £7,000???

Amazing there isn’t more coverage or outrage over the growing inequality in education. Remember: Over 70% of students at private schools got A* and A grades. Under 40% of students at comprehensives got A* and A grades. Equally intelligent children, massively unequal outcomes.

PHE data show up to 50% reduction in transmission of COVID from first vaccine. 3 implications: 1) Getting a vaccine helps protect others 2) This is likely to be improved by getting your second dose 3) If people you meet are vaccinated it reduces your risk- but not completely.
