Capcut - building in public. I'm not one of those people who reads instruction manuals all fricking day long to learn how to do something. I want my hands on things right away. I'm handsy. Struggling in the dark. Creating my own "a-ha" moments intuitively. It's those painful periods of frustration you break through that lead to spurts of inspired growth that really imprint the learning deep into your psyche and make it stick in there. And THEN I read the instructions manual. To add on to the practical knowledge I've gained by DOING! You learn by action You dont get that by rational thinking about how you are going to do it. There is a life lesson in there.. It takes me back to the Chekhov acting technique vs Stanislavski method acting, but that's a conversation we will have another time. With nothing more than a picture taken at the beach, I fiddled around a bit, learning how to edit on capcut on my phone so I could build my skills out in the field, with all the distractions around me. People around me talking. Noise in the background. Sun glare in my screen. Battery draining. Etc.. What took me a while since I don't know the tool well enough, will turn into me knowing my plan of action and each step towards it before my thumb hits the capcut app on my phone. Here, it's just a few filters, some ai created text and voice, and timed editing. Not perfect by any means. I used to take forever editing wedding music videos to make it perfect, even that is something you get quicker with, with time. One more in the can. I'll add a screen recording of what capcut mobile editor looks like in the comment below. capcut.com/t/ZmFg8rHY6/
This is a screen recording of this video playing in the capcut editor. In the future, I'll make a recording of me editing and sharing to x.
@stevevargas I'm a heavy CapCut user, never did it on the phone though. Should definitely try that.
