These days the stack is: GPT5-High+Cursor > Claude Code > Any other CLI/Editor combo Still prefer Zed when I do actual code editing but AI wise Cursor still wins.

Inspired by @levelsio I've set up a VPS just for vibecoding needs. Used Contabo as it's cheaper than Hetzner for more hardware per $. Added an alias for cc=claude --dangerously-skip-permissions Also connected it to my phone via Termius app. And now I don't know what to do…

I've tried @cursor_ai CLI agent with GPT5 since it's free anyway this week and it's the best at debugging. Managed to get a backend deployed to @Railway which Claude and Gemini struggled with because of issues with the mono repo setup and @bunjavascript support. Nice.

Macbook with M4 Max 48GB can do 75.91 tok/sec with Qwen3-30b-a3b-2507 and max context. That's quite snappy and it's only taking around 17.5GB of RAM on @lmstudio

I feel more like an AI Manager these days than a Software Engineer. Claude Code is my junior and senior, I'm just a manager that directs it's work and steers the ship when it gets stuck. I call in Gemini to check it's colleague is not slacking and that's mostly it.

I've been testing popular AI CLI coding tools lately and the only one that really impressed me was opencode with the new Kimi K2 model. Claude Code is a close second but it's quite expensive. Gemini CLI is just a clone of code and even though it's cheap it's not that great.

Truth is it's not the whole of Europe that has this anti AC mindset, for example the Balkans are fine and I assume Eastern Europe as well. Very easy to install AC here, no regulations. But from what I saw in France it does sound like they have to completely change things around.

Good writers will be able to augment all their skills with LLMs, if your communication skills suck you can't expect AI to infer what did you mean. Context is everything, for human as much as for the machine.
