People are supposed to congregate at fires in the evenings. Televisions/screens appropriate the light, but it's not the same. There's no burning smell and no warmth.

People get imposter syndrome because they're not being themselves. They get imposter syndrome because they're playing along with external conditions they themselves didn't set, in a passive way, to the point where other people define them to themselves.

Islam is the wrong way around because the warlord Muhammad of Medina corrects the peaceful Muhammad of Mecca, whereas Christianity goes the other way around - the New Testament corrects the Old Testament. Perhaps Christianity benefits from its prophet having died young.

Had a vision of E.T. wearing a veil on an aeroplane, while falling to sleep last night. He was sat on the right side of the plane. He had a window seat. I was looking at him(it?) from the row behind, inside seat, slightly elevated. It felt like Ryanair, compact.

When the norms presented in the culture we consume are warped, we become warped. I remember being a bit afraid of shaving. I had seen an episode of 'The Simpsons' in which Homer tried to show his son how to shave and ended up cutting himself and in pain.
