@sudo_overflow This is just god-awful. You may need a minimum wage to stop forcing people trying to compete with exploited poor kids.
@sudo_overflow they managed to be fucked up in so many different ways
@sudo_overflow I don’t know the location but child labor laws could limit what younger adults can do - so therefore they can’t do all the task a 18+ could do
@sudo_overflow Okay this is how I view it basically your paying for quality but again even adults can make alot of mistakes but I think the pay is fair based on the quality and experience you will receive from the worker based on their age
@sudo_overflow Nothing like getting that big raise when you turn 18.
@sudo_overflow This is actually a great example of fairness. Should 12 year olds make the same as adults?
@sudo_overflow why is everyone mad? If you’re kid is that young, they should be in school. If they are working, it’s probably for experience or temp job. So, why aren’t people making a deal about interns who get paid less than regular workers? Not only that, there’s important info not included
@sudo_overflow This is nothing, underage workers in African mines receive 1 USD per DAY
@sudo_overflow How very 19th century of them!
@sudo_overflow So how is this not age discrimination for the people who don't have an issue with this? And before you answer with WeLL AcTuaLLy, who is to say the 16-18 year old has work experience? It's very possible the 15 year old has the most experience, yet is paid the least based on age.
@sudo_overflow Whenever I worked at McDonald’s when I was 1714 and 15-year-olds were not legally allowed to operate the grill or deep fryer or use a trash compactor so it makes sense they get paid less if they legally not allowed to do more
@sudo_overflow This is normal in shitty banana republics.
@sudo_overflow Atleast those kids have a good experience after college 😂😂
