A common misunderstanding which has become quite symbolic with YOGA is Asans/physical postures. However, Asans is one of the limbs of Yoga and not the whole of it. YOG(A) has 8 limbs... And Physical postures/Asans is just one of them...
The Interwoven Nature of Mind -Body. In yoga, the mind and body are considered an intrinsic, interwoven unit. Through techniques like asana (physical postures), pranayama (breath control), and meditation .Yoga cultivates self-awareness, fosters mental calmness and clarity .
The whole world knows what yoga is .But time has come that we should discuss more of what is NOT Yoga It is not solely a physical exercise or a religion, although it has evolved to be widely practiced for physical fitness and stress relief in the West.
