THIS is the true cost of care. Every day, family caregivers like Ty Lewis provide $600 billion of unpaid care. We deserve a system that caregivers can rely on. Caregiving should be a choice, not a last resort.
There are currently 53 million unpaid caregivers in the U.S. Ty Lewis, who cares for her elderly mother with Alzheimer's while also raising her own children, is one of them — and she has built a community for those who feel left behind and emotionally and financially drained.

I also want you to know that it’s very important to choose a birthing team who will listen to and deliver on your wants within reason. I had a rock solid plan for any possible outcomes. Cesarean was a last resort only. My team took care of me and honored my plan to the T.
Seem like a lot of the black women who get induced be having c sections … I need to hear some successful stories of getting induced and delivering naturally.
