"बचपन के दिन भी क्या दिन थे", वाह, मजरूह साहब ने गीत के बोल लिखे हैं या फिर खट्टी मीठी यादों के अनमोल तोहफे जीवन भर के लिए हमारी और आपकी नज़र कर दिए हैं। और आज बात जब फ़िल्मी गानों की ही है तो फिर कुछ सुनहरी यादों के साथ हम सचिन देव बर्मन के संगीत से सजे गानों के साथ सफ़र करेंगे।
बर्मनदा की बात अक्सर उनसे शुरू होकर बर्मनदा पर ही खत्म हो जाती है। जबकि दादा की बात, उनकी पत्नी मीरा देव बर्मन, रफ़ी साहब, देवआनंद और किशोरदा के बिना पूरी ही नहीं हो सकती। जरा गौर कीजिए, लोग आज तक 'नौ दो ग्यारह' का गीत 'आजा पंछी अकेला है' दोहराते हैं। यह भी मीरा की ही धुन है।
