Calling the cops on a domestic violence scenario no matter how well intentioned is dangerous for the victim & offers no immediate help or long term solutions conversely they usually escalate the situation.

@itskamryn_det There's so many more viable less dangerous approaches to assisting a person being victimized in domestic violence that offer immediate help and long-term solutions without jeopardizing the victim's physical safety/autonomy by calling the cops
