Decided today that I really need to stop referring to patients as having limited English proficiency. It's ethnocentric, sounds like a deficit, and does not focus on a systemic accessibility requirement. Taking suggestions for an alternative term. #MedTwitter
Maybe the patient is not a poor historian. And maybe the one taking the history needs some better communication strategies. #MedTwitter
