We bid a fond farewell to Claire today. 16 years ago we were thrown together to prepare a bid to train student medics. 5 years ago we came together as colleagues in the same School. Today we said goodbye as friends. Going to miss my desk buddy 😢
The School said a fond farewell to our Deputy Dean Claire Chalmers this afternoon. Claire leaves us after 20+ years in various roles. We are going to miss Claire immensely 🥰
Attended a funeral today and heard a really touching comment about #dementia...the dementia years likened to waving someone off as they drive away, the distance increasing until you can no longer see the person, but you're still there, waving. Very poignant moment.
