Awful. This morning 17-year-old Austin Metcalf was stabbed by 17-year-old Karmelo Anthony at a track meet in Frisco. He died in his twin brother’s arms. Incomprehensible. Pray for his family.

NEVER assume that a young person is physically or mentally healthy based on their age only. You have NO IDEA if that person is or not. Health professionals and people in general need to stop doing this. Ever hear of invisible illnesses? If not, do research.

Today I got the results of my vaccine response from my oncologist. Anything over 400 is great. 250 is okay. Mine was 16. They consider it “background noise.” So just another friendly reminder that you, a healthy person, getting the vaccine can potentially save my life! 😘
