Grok Code isn't enough to unsub from Claude Code due to Sonnet being better in design taste and large codebase reactor But it's awesome when you are specific in prompting to do code fixes and add features
@techdevnotes do you have some examples to share where we do worse or workflows where sonnet shines. The next step for grok-code is to be better at design taste and also larger + longer workflows
@techdevnotes PS appreciate all the updates regarding Grok!
In case you're here to find out whether Grok Code is good or not... most of the normies commenting haven’t even used it. But honestly, Grok is really, really good and it’s literally free. Go vibe with it yourself and see how solid it is.. I recommend using it on roocode if your IDE person if you're CLI ... use it on opencode
@techdevnotes I disagree. Though not un par with sonnet, the UI ideation and design is far more complex and advanced with Grok Code
@techdevnotes > grok code is good but no it isn't ok
@techdevnotes I had a SharePoint silly automation using Python that Grok was able to resolve in just 5 message interactions, while others couldn’t or struggled to try a new way of doing things. For simple and making the most of coding, Grok’s the LLM King.
@techdevnotes I really like grok code and have been using it with opencode and windsurf. I would like it to be able to see images.
