I have been made aware of a collection of about 2,000 VHS tapes in London, meticulous recordings of television from 1997-2006, and that person has died; a neighbor has until Friday and then into the trash DM me, looking for someone to store them while we find a local digitizer.
UPDATE: I have found someone to store the tapes, so we'll have them out of the house this week. Next is to talk with all the potential digitizers in London, or talk about sending it to the US.
@textfiles I'm in the US but would be happy to assist. I'm mainly interested in the teletext data but would be able to also capture the video while I'm at it. You're welcome to ship me a box or two. I have a UK PAL VCR and already have some teletext extracts teletext.nigelreed.net
