SSAO now has 2x2 depth downsample + linearize pass. 16 bit UNORM output (instead of D32F). This is 8x less memory to read for SSAO, which improves cache hit ratios greatly. Looks identical. Now every game runs at 60fps on (9 year old) iPhone 6s again.

Any leads on importing usd in 3dsmax and rendering with Vray? @autodesk @ChaosGroup I’ve read the documentation of vray and it able to import models, just that we need to apply materials on import… #usda #3dsmax #gamedev
