IMO as an industry we're solving tomorrow's problems while most people haven't solved yesterday's problems. We're building sovereign money infrastructure while half the world still uses Western Union. That's not necessarily bad it's just early by about twenty years.

The smartest thing I ever did was buying Bitcoin not because I understood cryptography but because I recognized the pattern from working in the music business. Peer to peer file sharing killed gatekeepers in music and I bet it would do the same to money.
