If you're a beginner, focus on learning the basics first: HTML, CSS, & JS, and how websites work. Later on you can get into JS frameworks and other tools and libraries. Don't be in such a rush that you skim over those fundamentals.
@thecodercoder I agree. You don't have to master HTML, CSS or Javascript before getting into a library/framework but you have to learn the basics. I created a project to help beginners understand what they need to learn before approaching React: reactskillcalculator.netlify.app I welcome feedback!
@thecodercoder From my personal experience, I think sometimes you can learn JS while learning a framework. Just after graduating I got my job and I had to work on a React project without having a proper JS know how. Looking back one year I'd like to think I have come a long way.
@thecodercoder 3 years of using HTML CSS & JS, and I don't want to move to a framework 😂
@thecodercoder What about Python? I've been going over the same fundamental routines for a while already, transcending to O.O.P. hasn't really been smiling at me. I can say I'm stuck here and it hasn't really been encouraging. 😦
@thecodercoder I'm learning Python for now... but I'll be moving on to HTML after. That's a good plan right?
@thecodercoder Yes, many guys leave the basics and jump into using WordPress
@thecodercoder If I may ask, what do you mean by learning about how websites works?
@thecodercoder Working with html, css js for 3yrs now. Have worked on many production level web apps, published many websites. Still don't know how to center a gddamn div. 😂🤷
@thecodercoder as a beginner, this is really helpful i would love some additional info as a beginner guide from you.😄
@thecodercoder My journey started with HTML, i am now on PHP then JS and CSS. I think this is where the hard work is.
@thecodercoder Hi. Mam.. I want to learn Javascript... any suggestions for js course to learn.. probably free course. Like from YouTube.. complete ref...thanks...
@thecodercoder What about java? I can skip all these ones you listed and learn java
@thecodercoder Most frameworks use those basic skills for programming anyway, like React, I always think of jsx as HTML inside of JavaScript and most of the other stuff I do is vanilla JS in there. So it's better to know the basics which you will always be using is what I'm trying to say.
@thecodercoder I did all those in reverse order 😌
@thecodercoder Yh. No wonder I have spent my first on HTML and CSS. Started my second year and it is all for JS. I am on my own journey 😀😀
