I’ve been reading Charlotte’s Web to the 6 y.o. and they’re headed to the fair. I fear this book’s ending might send her into a spiral of existential dread and nihilism from which she’ll never recover.

Has anyone looked into the idea that fewer people have multiple jobs because wages are higher? So it’s not that we have fewer workers, we were just exploiting workers before?
