The HardFork podcast amused me by describing all the recent where-else twitter posts as "last day of summer camp." ...let's face it, i rarely delete any account, but @[email protected] on the extinct elephant if that's where next. Also, I don't get what my server choice means yet.

Never ever use @Taskrabbit to pick up a piece of furniture for delivery. Their Happiness Pledge is BS that excludes damages if a tasker drags something inappropriately and gashes a floor on someone else's property. Completely mortified, hoping i can afford the repairs myself.

today's lesson: the scorpion pepper hot sauce is DEFINITELY NOT the scotch bonnet hot sauce. Oops. (bought 2 bottles the other day, thought I'd left the moderate one out, poured heavily on my dinner. It has defeated me. But i ate a lot of carrots making it through half my plate!)

DON'T SAY I LEARNED NOTHING FROM EMILY IN PARIS! turns out i had both "ringard" & "plouc" in my french vocabulary flashcards from forever ago that i hadn't looked at. I know them now. (overall review: "that's awful, when's the next season please?" it really made me miss France.)
