Javeliners – the first citizen basic throwing unit, - give no chance to unshielded enemies.
Small details take me a lot of time – the throwing effect, a bit of randomness, timings, and 2D ordering can be quite a challenge.

Not fully happy with the water tiles yet, but the coastline is really starting to crystallize nicely. I still need to add more directions and smoother curves.
A reveal of some units in pixel formation, in rows:
Polites – citizens, doing their duty.
Aristoi – citizens, doing it better.
Demos – the expendable ones.
