i made a claude code command that updates a version number after every git push. AI decides itself whether its a path, minor or major and then also updates the changelog file. I don't think its common practice but I find it helpful

Twice now I have had my Claude code fail to update. I’ve then got Claude code to look at the issue and its told me a corrupt file was causing it. Not sure what I have done to cause that but it’s a little annoying. Wiped it clean and installed from scratch, hopefully its solved
