To interview EM’s, pull a stack of resumes, have them review and tell you who they think is good and why. Ideally you’ll have interviewed this group so you can pattern match. Good manager have taste aka can spot good engineers. The resumes they pick is the team you get.

Moved to gemini-2.5 from sonnet 3.5/3.7. Gemini is more accurate and makes less mistakes. Also much more methodical with debugging where sonnet can get itself stuck in loops. Google really cooking.

It's 2025 and most content is still written for humans instead of LLMs. 99.9% of attention is about to be LLM attention, not human attention. E.g. 99% of libraries still have docs that basically render to some pretty .html static pages assuming a human will click through them.…
