Hot take: Are we overengineering AI agents? Right now everyone's writing custom system prompts & attaching tools (MCP/direct) to create "specialized" agents. But what if generalist agents become so good that all you need is: - Your tools - One simple instruction layer Will AI specialization become obsolete as models get better? Or will there always be a place for highly tuned, domain specific agents? What's your take?
