Hay piles are my guinea pigs' favorite hiding place! While they do use more hay than hay bags, giving your guinea pigs hay piles is totally worth it. They can stay extra warm burrowed into a hay pile in the wintertime, and they can eat while they lay!

Bunnies can jump much higher than most people expect! How high bunnies can jump is important to remember when you're bunny-proofing play area or free roam area. We have an extra tall baby gate for Mac's bunny room as well so he can't jump out! #rabbitcare #rabbits #houserabbits

We've been giving Kali pig extra attention since we lost Lily fluff. Kali has never been on her own, so we put her next to Johnny and June so they can interact through the bars. I think it makes her feel a bit better and gives her something to do. #guineapigs #guineapigcare #gu

Guinea pigs are extremely social and do best with a friend! The bonding process with piggies can be a bit tricky sometimes, but it's worth it to keep them happier! Guinea pigs really do come out of their shell and live a much happier life if they have at least one friend to spen

Jellybean has been much more relaxed the last few days. I think separating the boys was a good call. Jelly used to be the top pig, but since his respiratory infection, Georgie has just been constantly pushing his buttons. He's been a lot more relaxed and happy. #guineapigs #gui

One of the last photos of Georgie and Jellybean together... We ended up having to separate the boys on Friday. Georgie just would not leave Jelly alone, to the point he was stressed out and wasn't able to eat and relax. They have a divider at the moment, and I'll be figuring out

Our four-day weekend is coming to an end way too soon! The piggies are still enjoying themselves with naps and eating snacks. We will be moving cages around again since some of the pigs have been having arguments and needed to be separated... more info on that will be coming soo
