Years ago, I noticed a powerful correlation: The less I trade, the higher my win rate is. Since then, my new years goal is always the same: Trade Less. Its far better to plan and wait on 1 "fat pitch" setup daily, then forcing 6 half-baked, impulse trades. Less=more

Remember profitability is not just finding "good" trades, it is also avoiding "bad" trades" Most traders can learn, plan & wait on an A+ setup, at an A+ zone daily. The problem is avoiding the barrage of 50/50, FOMO, unplanned impulse trades after. Sitting on hands is everything

So long, May. Got derailed by a few days of major tilting. Today's NT8/Rithmic glitch capped off a rough month; not even going to add to the journal bc it's so frustrating and demoralizing. Reset the eval acct again to start fresh in June, but honestly might take some time off.

Welp, you learn something new erryday. Took an overnight trade and my profit tgt was hit, but then my OCO didn’t work bc apparently Ninjatrader disconnected. So the stop triggered this morning and by the time I opened my platform, my green had gone to red:

Started up a new Topstep 50k eval since they’re running a sale. I was about -$200 on my last eval, so this brings me up to ground zero and paying a smaller monthly fee until I pass. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Well I made the rookie mistake of trying a new strategy w/o testing in sim first, took a loss, started tilting and wiped out all my gains and then some in my eval acct. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Just really, really dumb. It’s recoverable, so stopping now and will try again next week.
