I’ve lived in Texas my whole life as well as been transitioned for 5+ years. I’ve never had anyone say anything transphobic let alone homophobic to my face EVER. And that’s not a backwards way of defending Texas at all. More-so just funny observation about every queerphobe.

So it turns out, grief only gets tougher with time. I’m not sure if I’m the only one that feels that way. And weirdly enough I find myself embarrassed to admit that it hasn’t gotten any better. But I’m just kind of stumped as to what to do next to help it.

I remember how excited you were that you got your dream guitar. You took it on all the trips we made so you could write music while I drove. It was beautiful seeing how happy it made you.
