The last week of July 1983 was one of the darkest in Sri Lankan history. 400-3000 people were killed, 8,000 homes & 5,000 shops were destroyed. The cost of the riots was estimated to be $300 M. May 9 week of 2022 has all the marking of a repeat. Please, let's not go there. 🙏

I strongly feel market has bottomed out. Asked many why they are selling & the answer was SL situation. My answer is most companies wont get effected from those. Can anyone convince me that the market is still bearish ? I can convince you otherwise

Market has corrected a good 10% from the high’s, There was no big reason for the pullback,although it’s healthy on the long term. Earnings and PE is very good for anyone to enter now,no one can catch the lows This time rally will be more powerful going towards 18-20k by year end

Most of the liquid counter prices are now equivalent to previous 11,000 ASPI levels and all favorite shares trading at deep discounts..! Fortunes are built during the down market and expect a recovery very soon..!!

Thank you #Asha Securities for this. People who are worried about BIL reporting a loss please compare and see how well they have done. Imagine how well they are doing this quarter with HNB consolidation and divestment.
