It is interesting how many old papers used neural networks with only a dozen or so units. Computers weren’t THAT slow in the 90s — BLAS (basic linear algebra subprograms) was already a thing that vendors hyper-optimized for. Not much overlap between HPC and NN people?…

I believe @reactnative is perceived completely wrong. I have years of background in iOS and Android native development, but RN is my go to tool now. The reason is quite simple, development speed. I’ve never been faster in shipping an App on iOS and Android at the same time.
