I'm afraid there'd be tons of work required to "untangle" the false promises behind current capabilities of (agentic) AI. It doesn't take much effort to learn that LLMs cannot execute "cognitive work", "reasoning" in human understanding. That's a false promise.

The longer I work in IT the more clearly I see that people who work on tooling (such as frameworks) find it really, really hard to understand the business/consultant perspective. Business-wise, the best choice might be a sub-optimal tooling choice. And vice-versa.

hey @code, I have allowed VSCode to import MCP settings from @cursor_ai (as you can see below). I'm struggling to find any setting to turn it off... does such switch/setting even exist? Does @code just blindly read ~/.cursor/mcp.json with no opt-out?

I changed my mind about jupyter. Still can't see it makes sense for experienced folks. But for (early) beginners it could make some educational sense. The biggest "challenge" tho is the tooling/github ecosystem - outdated, repos with several years of no updates...
