This is also incorrect, really, as AWS and Amazon essentially act as different companies. Only the cloud provider is making money, so the whole thing is a moot point

YES! That stood out to me too, and I think it's so important. We can make very big and positive changes without having to learn it all. A lot of low-hanging fruit out there, and then slowly learn more as needed!
