Ugh, such a bummer… Cortland is a low-stress way to Divvy home after dropping my daughter at school. It’s a pain to bike over the Chicago River in Bucktown any other way. Two years lost, and this project won’t even give us the 606 extension…

Via @southshoreline, we took our first visit to Gary, Indiana, to see the @railcats play … and win! Easy walk from the train station, tho not much going on around the stadium, no kids games but they could run the outfield in the 5th inning, decent giveaways + concessions

Kudos to the planners of yesterday’s Meet Me On Milwaukee event. My Wicker Park 6-year-old loved walking and riding her scooter on Milwaukee Avenue with her friends. We fell short on finding the golden ticket, hopefully someone got the prizes!

Sloane would like to speak to a manager! The @whitesox removed the phone in the kids area. And the switch in Kids Club registration to a digital format is creating monster lines even as not many people here … But at least the baseball is good?
