@stuartayresmp @WendyTuckerman Rail trails are a ridiculous waste of money and resources. They are just a burden on ratepayers and never make a return on the costs imposed! A State financed Rail service is needed not a financial black hole for ratepayers!

We all know your proposed RT has little support yet you persist with it. Dividing a community isn't the most ideal way to go. Rail = better economy for all not just a few.

@stuartayresmp @WendyTuckerman Rail trails are nothing but a burden to tax payer's to construct and ratepayers to maintain. If you really want a win for the economy a rail with trail is the way to go or just revitalise railway for services.

@NERTinc Clearly people want trains running again in the region so why not have both rail & trail. Byron bay council report regarding the casino murwillumbah railway proves that rail trail by itself would not break even but a rail with trail concept would make $1.50 for each $1 invested.
