Bit of a disappointing end to the GCR gala with the beerex trains falling behind schedule, meaning I had to scrap them to get home at a reasonable time. Still, it's been another cracking day at the GCR, spent in great company & with great traction in fine fettle throughout
Hymek D7018 sitting at Rothley before being joined by Peak D123 to double head the last of the journey to Leicester North
Side by side Sulzers! Out of action D1705 is seen at Loughborough alongside fellow Sulzer D5370, which is seen arriving with a service from Leicester North

It's another visit to the fantastic Great Central Railway for day 2 of their Autumn Diesel Gala. A welcoming site of D5370 coming off depot & 37714/D6700 sat waiting their first duties of the day as I arrived at Loughborough Central earlier
