As a long time, colleague and friend of Jim’s, I am a very sad to hear of his passing away. He had incredible spirit and charisma and drive and a personality that was easy to be swept away by. His laughs and leader ship will be remembered.

It is my current view that any catastrophic demise caused by AI will be the responsibility ultimately of those that control the training data and those that control the algorithms. They ultimately control its and failures. Not machine…Man.

Only comment on McCarthy disaster. No matter what you think about politics…at least it’s something different. It’s not about parties…it’s about free thinking/ speech. Anyone who signs a bill for 1.7T should be asked if they read it. U read 4k pages before it passed law??
