Oof,Warcraft 2 Remastered looks awful! The graphics look really dull and uninspired, especially the units and buildings. What a missed opportunity to revive a classic! I would prefer it to keep the pixel-arty look, although completely reworked (like Harvest Moon-> Stardew Valley)

What's upsetting about using Unity with high dpi displays is that while UI scales up nicely, wireframe lines in scene view remain painfully thin. (for example, Blender renders lines perfectly) @aras_p this could be a great QOL improvement, please consider! #unity3d #gamedev

Another reason that makes 2020 such a sad year, is that it will see the official end of Adobe Flash. As a tool, it kickstarted the Golden Age of Indie Games. And much of where we are today, we owe it to Flash and its gamedev pioneers. Let's pay homage to some of them... 🧵👇

To this day, I am super mad at all the people who put for the codswallop that HTML5 was this perfect replacement for Flash. It's been 10 years since "Thoughts on Flash" was published and HTML5 STILL doesn't (in actual practice) replicate what mattered about Flash.
