If you find yourself not liking someone in your life, simply get to know them better. Knowledge is the opposite of fear. As you find common ground the differences start to fade into the background. Once the bridge goes up, the chasm can be crossed. Reconciliation starts with you.

Your anxiety is coming from imagining the negative results of a future event that most likely won’t happen. Get rid of that anxiety by: 1.) Taking a deep breath to bring you into the present 2.) Imagine the future situation being resolved in the best way. Rest in the new reality.

Let your imagination run wild about the future you want. Now, decide that it’s the future you will have. Congratulations on your success. If doubt surfaces any time between now and when the future you want arrives, simply remind yourself of your decision.

Counting your blessings is a tried and true way to increase happiness. Here a few simple things to be grateful for today: 1. Your ability to see, 2. Your ability to read, 3. Knowing someone loved you enough to give you life, then taught you a valuable skill.

When you lay down tonight to sleep, mentally go over your day. Think about what you thought about all day. Then ask yourself if this is what you want to think about all day for the rest of your days. If not, the first step to change is awareness. Tomorrow think differently.

You are presented with two choices when an event happens: 1. You can react without thinking 2. You can respond by pausing and going into thought. The difference is in who has control. If you react the event has control. If you respond you control the event. Be in control.

When you say “I’m broke” you simply earn more money and you’re not broke. Being poor is a state of mind. No matter how much money you have, it always seems to slip through your fingers. Being broke is fixed by offering more service. Not being poor takes a complete mental reset.

Controlling your thoughts is the road to freedom. What your main thoughts were last week, are appearing as your reality today. Be aware of what is getting your attention. The future you and everyone around you depends on it. Don’t get distracted from the path you want to create.

If you burn your hand, each time your hand goes near the heat you feel the pain again. When the wound heals, you’ll remember the pain, but won’t feel it. If last trauma still hurts when you think of the event, insert forgiveness. To forgive is to let go of completely.
