I learned how to write good names for functions/variables with loosely typed langauges because it was mandatory to keep your sanity in large projects. The modern type checker is nice but there is still room for naming things appropriately. Especially in long composed FP pipes :)

We must OVERWHELM THE BOTTLENECK and get these ports working again. I can't stress enough how bad it is for the world economy if the ports don't work. Every company selling physical goods bought or sold internationally will fail.

Civic Engineers will try to avoid using the fancy treated metals and stuff and use (cheap) Dirt/Soil when building infrastructure with consideration of requirements. Software Engineers will jump all over the shiny tech, k8s and micro-services to build a CMS. Engineers, eh?

What would make a software developer an "Engineer?" It may be possible to be worthy of the title but not many dwell on this and just soak up the prestige the word has.

One thing that keeps me from switching my local fiber ISP is that I've heard they do not support IPv6 and are putting customers behind a carrier-grade NAT. Faster speeds, second-class connectivity. @AlloFiber what are your plans to fix this mishap?
