This goes on for 3-4 days with them calling multiple times a day, even during office hours. Dad assumes they are a scam and tells them sternly not to call. But they continue
@vivekraju93 Hi, We understand that this is not ideal and will certainly try & make this right. Kindly share your contact details, via DM, so that we can resolve this for you.
@vivekraju93 For the exact same reason, I have discontinued most of the PayLater options. I would rather use a Credit card. With every new account opened under BNPL, your credit score takes a hit. CIBIL clearly says that more the no. of credit accounts, lower will be credit score.
@vivekraju93 Thank god that awareness is being spread about the shady practices these BNPL products adopt. The same thing happened to me with regards to Amazon Pay. Noticed loans from Karur and Cap Float in my credit report. Reprimanded Amazon and immediately closed my Pay Later account.
@vivekraju93 Flipkart is messaging me daily saying that my "pre-approved loan " is ready.. Whatever that is.
@vivekraju93 Thanks for sharing. As somebody in North not familiar with this word, may I ask what is 'kutti'?
@vivekraju93 So Paytm is using dark patterns of BNPL to surpass Bajaj Finserve in lending
@vivekraju93 @grumpeoldman Looks incomplete. Finally how did you resolve the issue? Dad had to pay d outstanding or not?
@vivekraju93 I think companies don't want to spend on educating customer on product features, they just push the product and customers directly agree on T&C. There has to be a way where customer gets to know on what they are getting into
@vivekraju93 @MartinSLewis Buy now pay later is a problem everywhere.....
@vivekraju93 A nice take into the dark world which is assumed to be just another simple payment mode...
@vivekraju93 I had a similar experience with mobikwik these are worst night mare
@vivekraju93 Eye opening will check mine family details too 😠
@vivekraju93 Any panalty or late payment interest charges on the due amount?
@vivekraju93 Actually it's clearly mentioned paytm has Aditya Birla and Amazon has the latter two. Without a user opting for it no company would give it to them. If the user opts it then should do due diligence to understand it. I mean what do u mean he doesn't know
@vivekraju93 Waiting for the details so as to assist you at the earliest.
