I am getting closer to finishing the first release of Endless Mode for Tea For God. But decided to get some tiny little side project when I saw the characters drawn by my kid #dog and #cat being #BFFs . A small coop puzzle platformer game. #cute #pixels #CRT #coop

As part of the endless mode, you have to leave everything you have after reaching base (lore: decontamination, actual reason: makes it easier to manage stuff). The device I added for "unloading" things not only takes your weapons but also your hand. #vr #coding #IndieGameDev

Meow. Had to turn of SSR as it was optimised for isometric view and hell gets lose when camera is almost horizontal. "Endless corridors" happen quite often :D

This is me: 3 hour long drive and I think that maybe I should try TPP for that cat prototype game as although the camera would be tricky, it would allow for more cat-style exploration/traversal. Isometric didn't really work with all the jumping :( readability

The other kid wanted a #cat to be in the game. I decided to implement a simple animation system from scratch (standard stuff: nodes, state machines) and it is quite now easy to add more. And it is "controls before animations". #gamedev #indiegamedev #impossiblespaces

I remember playing the demo of Tea For God in my garden with the maximum play space Quest allows for. Such an amazing experience. This is just something different when you walk in a vast VR Game using your feet. This is a total must-buy, or worth trying a free demo at least.
