its always kinda difficult giving people advice about telling others about ur OSDDID bc on one hand it can back fire but what many people aren't actually prepared for is the fact that no one actually cares about your brain and what goes on inside it as much as you do

The "Ghostly introduction" is a name I've come up with for the alters that suddenly appear out of nowhere, make themselves known and they're suddenly gone soon after. Poof! It's like they weren't even there five seconds ago. It's so frustrating!

Telling a trauma survivor to ‘let it go’ or to ‘leave it in the past’, is not helpful. The thing is, trauma makes us into time travellers, so the past is never just behind us. We are not holding onto it. Rather, the world keeps intruding, showing us that the threat remains.

Just when I thought the denial was real after many months of no alter and DID going on, Lilith popped out. It also seems like we have some new guys walking around in our headspace. Just great.

Does anyone else struggle with nail polishes in their system? Some of our alters love polishing our nails but now I have two of my fingers glued and it's Not. Coming. Off!!
