@silvertopsolar I could move lightning onto chain btc but I'm not keen on adding this feature. @vsc_eco will have full btc wrapping from main chain so I'm inclined to wait for that to fill this gap. You'll be able to move lightning to Hive via my bridge and once there you can hold or cash out.

@v4vapp @mira_hurley @vsc_eco agreed. it is good for merchants that adopt industrialized centralized wallets, esp in bankless countries. But not good if they want to run their own node. Hive makes this all so much better though.

@Sovereign_Matt At some point, one of the three things will happen due to the Bitcoin security budget issue: 1) on-chain scaling (a block size increase, etc.) 2) meddling with the emission algo (removing the 21 million coin cap limit, etc.) 3) a consensus system change (to PoS, PoA, etc.)
So the Runes fad is over, the fee rate is back to 20 sat per byte, and Bitcoin's security budget has almost halved 🔮 Laser eyes have been proven wrong once again: sustainable large fees are not happening; Bitcoin's security is diminishing 📉 The 1 MB limit has to go 🎶
@StanislawBits There's no "sustained high fee rates", it always gets back to 1-10 sat per byte. Outpriced users simply move to other blockchains and the pressure is relieved.

@vsc_eco I freaking mean it, and I am angry as well. We should be spending 6 digits on marketing yearly. What we do is spread a few stickers and hats. This will not bring major adoption.
