Prior to 2000, Cricket wasn’t very popular in Afghanistan.In 90s sports were erased in🇦🇫.My generation got introduced to this sport cuz for the very first time we had a promising team who excelled in the game despite not having stadiums,equipments or financial backing.1️⃣

Afghanistan’s name was being taken at a world stage at a sports event. The Afghan national anthem was played while the tricolour flag waved. Soon enough @MohammadNabi007 @rashidkhan_19 @Mujeeb_R88 @MShahzad077 & many others became household names not just in AFG but everywhere.2️⃣
