Feel very lucky to have been at Heaton Park last night, almost 30 years on from seeing #Oasis at Knebworth. They were as good, if not better than that night in 1996 🙌🏻 What a day!

Delighted for the #safc fans, inc my cousin and uncle who were at Wembley, but that was probably the worst I’ve seen them play this season. Doesn’t matter though in a one-off game and they have had a lot bad luck there in the past.

Big decision for Farke for #lufc game v Sheff We’d next Sunday…Meslier v Darlow. I know he wasn’t overly tested, but Darlow looks confident and should offer a bit more stability to the back four.

Thought Jayden Danns showed more in 20 mins than some of the other #LFC fringe players. He would be getting more game time if he was in any other PL squad, so many others in front of him. Would be a great loan signing for bottom-half team or a Championship side. #LFCACC

Harrogate so well organised and work rate fantastic. Made it tough for Leeds and one slight loss of concentration cost them a chance of ET. O’Connor standout performance IMO, but Burrell excellent as well when you consider his lack of mins this season #FACup #HarrogateTown

Quite rightly VVD was Man of the Match today, but really pleased to hear Arne Slot praise Joe Gomez. Hardly played this season and slots straight in for biggest game of the season. Not many players could do that with so little game time! #lfc #lfcMCI What do you think @Carra23 ?

Really impressed by #avfc today, in what I thought would be a tricky game. Some goal from Ollie Watkins, while Rogers, Tielemans and Diego Carlos were excellent. When you look at the players on the bench, starting to wonder whether they are title contenders? #FULAVL

Quite a few positives for #ITFC to take from first half display, a lot of teams would have been blown away by Liverpool playing like that. Hutchison is clearly going to be key to their hopes of staying up.

Hard to work out exactly just how good that #LFC second half performance was, but there was some brilliant football at times. Thought the decision to start Jota was spot on and proved the case. Salah looked fresh for the first time in a while.

The real worry for England is how good this young Spain are. Maybe because it’s still raw, but I’m not sure England will be able to get over the line with them around. #EURO2024
