I’d like to apologise for the background noise in my first lesson - rain prevented the boys being taken out (a few shouts from the boys during moments of silence can be heard in playback) 😂😂🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

The @TrussellTrust has just confirmed that children & family use of food banks is at chronic levels, and we see it visibly in our poorest communities. Surely we can manage to fund 6 weeks of food vouchers for the most vulnerable in the country? Come on @10DowningStreet.

The argument that RE should be scrapped as people are less religious is deeply flawed. Do we stop studying Victorians as none of us are Victorians, or active volcanoes as there are none in the UK? Surely any subject is to teach students what they don’t know - so more RE needed?!

RE as a subject is properly underrated in primary do we not think. I’ve been doing Islam with my class and the genuine thought, care and inquiring nature of them has actually left me feeling all warm and fuzzy. Kids want to know about the people in the world around team!!!
