I'm increasingly convinced that the future of reasoners lies in pretraining rather than any end product. I might be humiliatingly wrong, since most people think that scaling inference compute is "the future", but I think "superintelligent autocomplete" is the future, not <think>.
Dude it must be such a burden to be so incredibly smart and yet so depressed because you're stuck wasting that smart mind on stuff that you think is stupid and meaningless and it's def society's fault because you have absolutely no agency over this somehow despite being so smart!
