Making my first tool that i wont use myself for a friend, basicly sending his webhooks from his trading strategy to his broker, i dont want to monetize it since its too simple, but i do want to publish it, add more brokers if its worth it. how do you go about this? ko-fi?

As solo self educated dev, can heavily recommend the x communitys, whenever i get lost or overwhelmed helps a lot to see people already did it and are thriving with it, not to mention its really motivating to show up and see others showing up. bless the grinders!

moved entire codebase(wip) documentation to Obsidian. love the visual aspect of it, makes stuff a lot easyer to maintain. nice to not have to share source code for onboarding. not to mention future proofing for intergrating some clankers and giving context without prompting.👀
Best way to document a big stack? Im self educated, never really documented outside of docstrings. Im not asking how to document, but more so how to have a meaningfull overview with minimal bloat. Where the client can easily jump in and set up, without having to jump in code.
still working on infra, goal is to have llms basicly be the word paperclip for my stack. eventually need a ML pipeline too for training financial models, right now running ubuntu on my pc and offloading all gpu tasks to it, opens up room for dedicated GPU machine down the line

Infra almost up now, Looking deeper into game development gave me some ideas. Refractored the code i had in containers to a modular pipeline. Allows connecting container to stack by a few args and mappings. Also added session generated api keys and encryption.
Was hyped about ai first too and exited, but seeing 95% of my timeline now consisting of ai this ai that, its annoying . 🤣😪
Not much posts lately, working on a logger and some helper scripts to make launching containers just plug and play. too boring to post about. but really nescesary to speed things up in the long run, also started doing some work on a sandbox game in python, to level up OOP
Work on order/backtest container put on halt untill containers can connect, Now working on the infra to achieve this. Code is for server/client containers, Call a single function. Args decide type of server and auth protocols. log color based on server-type, plug and play
best advice you can give to a new self educated solo dev that aims aim to build quant pipelines and infra? not aiming for direct employment, the dream is to grow into contract work and build for clients with time. im working on my own stack that runs on docker, plug and play
my apologies for not posting the past few days, had some family stuff to deal with etc, did read a lot about async and websockets while i was out. will be coding all weekend and setting up secure network infra, to allow the containers to communicate safely with eachother.
thinking a lot on safety lately, finally found a good solution for API keys etc. Storing all sensitive data on USB, truenas and docker allows for only injecting keys briefly when needed, keeping it completely seperate from source, and even from server. data will also be encrypted
