No one talks about the fear to love again after a traumatic break up..some people, even though they've healed will continue to remain single. It's like scars have memories..even healed ones.

A lot of people tolerate toxic, abusive behavior just to avoid being alone. Fk that. I’d rather be alone, happy, and living my best life than walking on eggshells, scared to upset someone. That’s not love—it’s a mental prison.

You have to really love yourself to want to better yourself. People don’t do better because they lack self-worth. What makes you hate yourself? Unlearn that poison and get back to loving you again.
