Levy gone at Spurs… I think they should have kept him on, just kept him away from the football side of things. You can’t argue with what he’s done for the club off the pitch, the stadium is incredible and Spurs are a model club in terms of profitability - so many clubs aren’t!

Not gonna lie, I love Bake-Off. it’s the rare reality tv show where nobody is a dickhead and there’s no fake tension (see any US cooking show). But, I ain’t having this new thing of giving them the technical to see before baking!!

This sums up Newcastle’s problem, not accepting their position in the food chain. You have to realise where you are - ie not top tier - and accept you have to sell top players on your way up. And you’re not a proper champions league club until you qualify in back-to-back seasons

For years, I’ve completely ignored Deadline Day, as a Liverpool fan, it was a non-event. Proving to be a little different this year! I’d still like us to get a surprise signing out of nowhere, but Guehi will do.
